Hans Petter is an experienced advisor and partner within the recruitment of senior leaders and middle managers. He has leadership experience from the Armed Forces, the county authority, the specialist health service and central government, and thereby has in-depth knowledge and experience of various top leadership groups. With 30 years of leadership experience at operational and strategic level, and a long track record as a recruiter, Hans Petter has a substantial network.
Hans Petter has led many complex recruitment assignments for leaders at senior and middle-management level in the specialist health service, both at regional health authority level and at health trust level. In addition, with his experience as HR Director at the Norwegian Mapping Authority, he has supported the public sector with the recruitment of leaders, at directorate and agency level, as well as in the higher-education sector.
Hans Petter holds a master’s degree in strategy and competence management, an engineering education and a pedagogical background. He has leadership training from the Armed Forces, including officer candidate school and military academy. In 2020–2021 he completed the government’s top-executive programme to strengthen strategic leadership and help strengthen leadership groups and boards. He is also an examiner at Østfold University College.
Hans Petter has been a DNV-certified recruiter since 2011 and holds certifications in Aon’s DNV-approved aptitude and personality tests. (OPQ-32 and JTI). He is also certified in Prosci change management.
