Former editor-in-chief, head of communications and journalist Signy Fardal is joining Habberstad rekruttering og utvikling as a senior advisor. She brings solid leadership experience, extensive expertise and relationships from many industries and communities, and strengthens Habberstad’s capacity in recruitment and advisory services.
Signy Fardal has extensive operational leadership experience with strong commercial results. For 20 years she was publishing director and a prominent editor-in-chief of the ELLE brand in Norway, she has written a book on women and leadership, and she worked as head of communications at the environmental foundation Bellona from 2021 to 2026.
Fardal has a broad journalistic background and solid knowledge of communication and public engagement. She has been a journalist at Dagbladet, editorial manager at Dagens Næringsliv, an advisor at Geelmuyden Kiese, and led the ELLE brand in Norway for two decades. The book «Helt sjef – om kvinner og ledelse og veien til toppen», which Signy Fardal wrote together with Line Uppard, received good reviews in Dagbladet, Morgenbladet, Klassekampen and Dagens Næringsliv, among others.
Over the course of her leadership career, Signy has built solid experience in recruitment, and she brings with her a substantial network that benefits clients and candidates alike.
